What is viprSubChnlAtmPeakCellRate?
This OID stores the Peak Cell Rate (PCR) in cells per second, which is the absolute maximum transmission rate allowed on this ATM connection. Network engineers set PCR as the hard ceiling to prevent the connection from overwhelming the network or exceeding carrier contracts. For example, PCR of 353207 cells/sec represents an OC-3 (155 Mbps) ATM port limit.
