Module: ACMIB
OID (symbolic): ACMIB::viprStatsInsufficientPcktsLo

Description: packet received length is greater than the number of cells received
What is viprStatsInsufficientPcktsLo?
This counter tracks how many packets arrived where the declared packet length exceeded the actual number of ATM cells that carried it. A network engineer would monitor this to spot packet corruption or malformed data on the line, which typically indicates a hardware problem or protocol violation. A value of 5 would mean that 5 times, the hardware received packets where the claimed size was bigger than the data cells actually transmitted.
