Description: This field is used to configure the mdoe in which a TASM DSP will be used asd a resource. The modes are explained as follows: casMode: DSP resource is used for DTMF/MF tone detection/generation and running the Type 100, 105, and 108 tests. tasMode: DSP resource is used for playing/compressing announcement.
What is tasmChannelModeConfig?
This OID configures whether a TASM DSP operates in CAS mode (for DTMF/MF tone detection and test execution) or TAS mode (for announcement playback and compression). Network engineers choose the mode based on what services the channel needs to provide. For example, setting to 'casMode' configures the DSP to detect DTMF tones and run performance tests, while 'tasMode' would enable announcement playback capabilities.
