This OID reports the amount of RAM memory that is currently available for new tasks and buffers, measured in kilobytes. Network engineers track this to detect memory leaks or exhaustion that can cause the device to drop packets or crash. A value of 131072 means 128 MB of RAM is free and ready to use for processing tasks.
