Description: The number of bad cells (BIP16) received so far.

What is sysInfoBadCellRx?

This OID counts the cumulative number of bad cells (corrupted ATM cells with BIP16 errors) received by the device. Network engineers monitor this counter to detect transmission line quality issues and plan fiber optic repairs before they cause outages. A value of 523 means the device has detected 523 corrupted cells since startup, which may indicate a problem with the incoming signal.
