What is switchAlarmStatus?

This OID reports the current alarm status on the switch as a severity level: none, minor, major, or critical. Network engineers use this for alerting and monitoring to automatically escalate incidents and notify on-call staff of network equipment failures. A value of 'critical' means a critical alarm exists on the switch, such as a failed power supply, and immediate action is required.
