svcPointToPointCalls

Module: ACMIB

OID (symbolic): ACMIB::svcPointToPointCalls

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.1.47

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Integer32

Access: read-write

Description: The total number of SVC point-to-point calls, both legs are SVCs.

What is svcPointToPointCalls?

This OID tracks the total count of active SVC (Switched Virtual Circuit) point-to-point calls where both connection endpoints use SVCs. Engineers monitor this metric to understand circuit load and plan capacity expansion for the ATM network. For example, a value of 42 means 42 separate point-to-point SVC connections are currently active and consuming bandwidth.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.1.47
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ACMIB::svcPointToPointCalls

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.1.47.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ACMIB::svcPointToPointCalls.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.1.47.1 i <value>
