Description: Defines whether the stratum should switch to freerun or holdover on reference clock failure.
What is stratumRefFailAction?
This OID controls whether the device should switch to freerun mode (independent oscillator) or holdover mode (freeze last-known frequency) when the reference clock signal disappears. You set this during deployment based on your tolerance for clock drift; freerun allows the oscillator to drift naturally, while holdover maintains the last frequency longer. For example, a value of 1 means switch to freerun on failure, while 2 means stay in holdover.
