stratumLevel
Module: ACMIB
OID (symbolic): ACMIB::stratumLevel
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.17.4
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-write
Description: Enable or disable the switching over to stratum 4 when stratum 3 is not possible.
What is stratumLevel?
This OID enables or disables an automatic fallback mode where the device accepts lower-quality stratum 4 synchronized clock if the more accurate stratum 3 reference is unavailable. You enable this on devices that need to keep running even with degraded timing accuracy rather than failing completely. For example, a value of 1 means allow stratum 4 fallback, while 0 means reject stratum 4 and stay in holdover instead.
Examples
Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.17.4 snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ACMIB::stratumLevel
Get a specific instance (index 1):
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.17.4.1 snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ACMIB::stratumLevel.1
Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):
snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.17.4.1 i <value>
