siteGatewayAddr

Module: ACMIB

OID (symbolic): ACMIB::siteGatewayAddr

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.1.5

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: IpAddress

Access: read-write

Description: ip address for gateway access to the site (switch)

What is siteGatewayAddr?

This OID specifies the default gateway router's IP address where traffic destined for remote sites is forwarded (read-write). You set this so the device knows the next hop for reaching management servers and remote sites outside the local network. An entry of 192.168.100.1 makes that router the path for all offsite communication.
