siteEtherIpMask

Module: ACMIB

OID (symbolic): ACMIB::siteEtherIpMask

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.1.4

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: IpAddress

Access: read-write

Description: ip mask for ethernet access to the site (switch)

What is siteEtherIpMask?

This OID contains the subnet mask paired with the ethernet IP address, defining which other devices are local to this site (read-write). The device uses this mask to determine if outbound traffic stays local or needs the gateway. A value of 255.255.255.0 means other hosts with the first three octets matching are on the same segment.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.1.4
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ACMIB::siteEtherIpMask

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.1.4.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ACMIB::siteEtherIpMask.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.1.4.1 a <value>

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> siteEtherIpMask.1
