routerNumber

Module: ACMIB

OID (symbolic): ACMIB::routerNumber

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.5.10.1.6

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: A scalar number which identifies a given router (VPN)

What is routerNumber?

This OID contains a numeric identifier (0–999) that uniquely identifies which router or VPN instance this is when the system manages multiple routers. Network administrators use this to distinguish between different routers in configuration files and monitoring systems. For example, routerNumber 5 identifies this as the fifth router in the VPN.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.5.10.1.6
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ACMIB::routerNumber

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.5.10.1.6.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ACMIB::routerNumber.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.5.10.1.6.1 i <value>
