routerEthernetIpAddress

Module: ACMIB

OID (symbolic): ACMIB::routerEthernetIpAddress

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.5.10.1.7

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: IpAddress

Access: read-write

Description: router Ethernet IP Address.

What is routerEthernetIpAddress?

This OID stores the IP address configured on the router's Ethernet interface, allowing it to communicate over Ethernet networks. Network engineers configure this separately from the ATM interface IP to connect the router to different network segments. A value like 10.0.0.5 would give the Ethernet port its own network identity.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.5.10.1.7
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ACMIB::routerEthernetIpAddress

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.5.10.1.7.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ACMIB::routerEthernetIpAddress.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.5.10.1.7.1 a <value>
