resetBridgeDomainStatistics

Module: ACMIB

OID (symbolic): ACMIB::resetBridgeDomainStatistics

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.16.17

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Integer32

Access: read-write

Description: Resets bridge domain statistics.

What is resetBridgeDomainStatistics?

This OID clears all statistics counters associated with bridge domain operations and traffic forwarding. Network engineers use this when testing or troubleshooting bridge domain configurations to establish a clean statistical baseline. Setting this to 1 zeros out packet counts and error statistics for the bridge domain, allowing fresh measurement of traffic patterns.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.16.17
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ACMIB::resetBridgeDomainStatistics

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.16.17.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ACMIB::resetBridgeDomainStatistics.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):
