What is pingStatus?

This OID returns whether a ping test to a remote host succeeded (alive) or failed (not alive), providing a simple connectivity indicator. Network engineers use this to quickly verify if a critical host is reachable and responsive. For example, a value of 1 means the host responds to pings, while 0 indicates no response—possible network outage or firewall blocking.
