This read-only OID shows the current activation or deactivation status of end-to-end continuity checking at the sending endpoint. You check this to see whether continuity checks are currently active or if an activation request is still processing at the source. A status value of "active" means the source is sending continuity check cells; "pending" means activation is in progress.
