msSpeedAdaption
Module: ACMIB
OID (symbolic): ACMIB::msSpeedAdaption
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.2.4.1.17
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-write
Description: The state of allowing speed adaption
What is msSpeedAdaption?
This OID determines whether the multiserial port can automatically adjust its transmission speed to match the capabilities of the connected device. You would configure this when connecting to legacy equipment that may not support your standard line speed, allowing the interface to negotiate a compatible rate. For instance, enabling speed adaptation allows a 56k interface to drop to 19.2k if the remote device doesn't support higher speeds.
Examples
Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.2.4.1.17 snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ACMIB::msSpeedAdaption
Get a specific instance (index 1):
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.2.4.1.17.1 snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ACMIB::msSpeedAdaption.1
Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):
snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.2.4.1.17.1 i <value>
