What is msRs232StopBits?

This OID defines how many stop bits (1, 1.5, or 2) are inserted after each character to mark the end of transmission and allow receiver processing time. Older or slower devices often need 2 stop bits for reliability, while modern equipment typically uses 1 stop bit. Selecting 2 stop bits gives the remote device extra settling time, especially important for slow mechanical serial devices.
