msRs232DataBits
Module: ACMIB
OID (symbolic): ACMIB::msRs232DataBits
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.2.4.1.8
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-write
Description: data bits for rs232 DTE/DCE serial port
What is msRs232DataBits?
This OID specifies how many data bits (typically 7 or 8) form each character sent over the RS232 serial port. This value must match your connected terminal or device settings; wrong values cause corrupted or unreadable communication. Setting this to 8 allows transmission of full extended ASCII characters without loss of data.
