loopbackLocationID

Module: ACMIB

OID (symbolic): ACMIB::loopbackLocationID

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.1.45

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: OCTET STRING

Access: read-write

Description: ID of the ATM Node where the loopback is to occur.

What is loopbackLocationID?

This OID holds a 16-byte identifier specifying which ATM node should perform loopback testing and diagnostics. Engineers set this to direct loopback tests to a specific point in the ATM network for path validation and troubleshooting. For example, setting it to 'Node-001' would run diagnostic traffic through that particular node to verify connectivity.
