isdnIntfDChanId

Module: ACMIB

OID (symbolic): ACMIB::isdnIntfDChanId

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.5.11.1.1.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Integer32

Access: read-write

Description: D-Channel Number - if the Dchannel no. is 0 no LAPD will run on this PRI-ISDN interface

What is isdnIntfDChanId?

This OID specifies which D-Channel (ISDN's signaling channel) is used for call control on a PRI interface, with a value of 0 meaning no LAPD protocol stack is active. Technicians set this during configuration because the D-Channel carries all setup and tear-down messages; channel 0 disables the protocol entirely. Typical production value is 16, which is the standard D-Channel for PRI trunks.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.5.11.1.1.2
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ACMIB::isdnIntfDChanId

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.5.11.1.1.2.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ACMIB::isdnIntfDChanId.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.5.11.1.1.2.1 i <value>

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> isdnIntfDChanId.1
