Description: protection operational state of the interface. Indicates which logical interface is carrying traffic originally configured for this interface.

What is iptOperatingIntf?

This OID shows which logical interface is actually carrying traffic for a protection pair. An engineer checks this to verify that failover worked correctly or to identify which interface is the active one. For example, if interface 1 fails, this value shows that traffic is now on interface 2.
