ipTypeReasonCode

Module: ACMIB

OID (symbolic): ACMIB::ipTypeReasonCode

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.15.13

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-only

Description: Indicator of which ip address had the problem.

What is ipTypeReasonCode?

This read-only integer indicates which IP address configuration (IPv4, IPv6, etc.) had a validation or connectivity problem on the device. Network engineers need this to isolate whether the problem is with the management IP, a data plane IP, or a dual-stack configuration mismatch. For example, a code might specify 'IPv4 gateway unreachable' versus 'IPv6 prefix invalid.'

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.15.13
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ACMIB::ipTypeReasonCode

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.15.13.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ACMIB::ipTypeReasonCode.1
