What is ipAddrNumber?

This OID holds the IP address that will be used as the target for ping or echo tests, configured as a standard IP address (dotted decimal). Administrators set this value to test reachability to a specific host or to monitor connectivity to a critical network device. For example, an address of 192.168.1.1 targets the ping test at your default gateway to verify the uplink is working.
