Module: ACMIB

OID (symbolic): ACMIB::interfaceIndex

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.15.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: IntfIndex

What is interfaceIndex?

This read-only OID provides a unique identifier for a physical or logical interface, encoded in slot-port-channel format (SSPPCCC). Network engineers use this identifier to reference specific interfaces in SNMP traps, logs, and management queries. A value like 010304 uniquely identifies slot 01, port 03, channel 04 on the device.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.15.2
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ACMIB::interfaceIndex

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.15.2.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ACMIB::interfaceIndex.1
