inBandPrimaryIpMask

Module: ACMIB

OID (symbolic): ACMIB::inBandPrimaryIpMask

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.1.28

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: OCTET STRING

Access: read-write

Description: IP address subnet mask of the primary in-band management IP address.

What is inBandPrimaryIpMask?

This OID stores a 4-octet subnet mask defining which IP addresses are reachable through the primary in-band management link. Network engineers set this to match their network topology so the device knows what destinations to reach via the in-band path. A mask of 255.255.255.0 (0xFFFFFF00) means any address in the 192.168.10.0/24 range is reachable through the in-band connection.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.1.28
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ACMIB::inBandPrimaryIpMask

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.1.28.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ACMIB::inBandPrimaryIpMask.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.1.28.1 s <value>
