What is h248TermId?
This OID holds a 32-byte termination ID string provisioned by the engineer to uniquely identify a voice terminal or line between the Media Gateway Controller (MGC) and this Media Gateway (MG). Engineers configure this to enable the MGC to send call control commands to the correct endpoint without confusion across multiple gateways. For example, setting it to 'voice-line-01-building-B' identifies a specific voice port at a particular location.
