What is frUniT391?
Sets the interval in seconds (5 to 30) that the DTE (Device Terminal Equipment) waits between sending keep-alive status enquiry messages to the DCE (Data Communications Equipment). Network operators tune this timer to match the carrier's requirements and to detect link failures quickly without overwhelming the circuit. Setting it to 10 seconds means your router sends a status check every 10 seconds to verify the Frame Relay link is still alive.
