What is frUniStatsAAL5Errors?

ACMIB::frUniStatsAAL5Errors counts how many ATM Adaptation Layer 5 protocol data units (PDUs) arrived with corruption, detected by an invalid byte count or a failed CRC-32 checksum. A rising count indicates signal quality problems on the physical link and should trigger investigation of cables, signal levels, or equipment issues. For example, if this counter jumps from 0 to 50, it means the line has developed bit errors that are corrupting incoming data.
