This OID stores the low-order 32 bits of the persistent cell-encode counter for side A, ranging 0 to 2,147,483,647, and must be combined with the high-order value for the full count. The odometer counter is useful because it survives interface state changes, allowing you to accurately bill for traffic or validate whether a long-running service has processed an expected volume of cells. If low=800,000,000 and high=3, the total cells encoded on A-side since the last reset would be approximately 6.8 billion cells.
