Description: The value of this object is equal to the excess burst size (Be) parameter (measured in bits) for this SPVC in the ingress direction (into the frame relay UNI).

What is frAtmSpvcVccBeIn?

This sets the excess burst size in bits for incoming traffic—the absolute ceiling on how much a burst can exceed Bc before frames are discarded. Network engineers configure this as a safety limit to prevent traffic storms from overwhelming the ingress interface. For example, a Be value of 32000 bits means incoming bursts cannot exceed 32 kilobits, even transiently, without frame loss.
