Module: ACMIB

OID (symbolic): ACMIB::e3ChannelIfType

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.3.10.1.2

Description: Interface type configured on E3 channel

What is e3ChannelIfType?

This OID defines what type of interface the E3 channel (a 34 Mbps European digital trunk) is configured as. Engineers set this when provisioning E3 links to match the service type they're carrying over that connection. For example, setting it to 'atm' means the E3 channel will carry ATM cells, while 'frameRelay' would indicate it carries Frame Relay traffic instead.
