e1ChannelSignaling

Module: ACMIB

OID (symbolic): ACMIB::e1ChannelSignaling

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.3.11.1.7

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Refers to robbed-bit singaling in circuitEmulation interface.

What is e1ChannelSignaling?

This OID controls whether robbed-bit signaling is used for circuit-emulation services over the E1 channel—a method that steals a bit from data to carry call control information. Engineers use this when the equipment requires in-band call signaling (like older PBX systems do). Setting this to 'enabled' lets the card extract ringing and disconnect signals from within the voice channel itself, rather than using a separate signaling channel.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.3.11.1.7
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ACMIB::e1ChannelSignaling

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.3.11.1.7.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ACMIB::e1ChannelSignaling.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.3.11.1.7.1 i <value>
