Module: ACMIB

OID (symbolic): ACMIB::e1ChannelIfType

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.3.11.1.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: UNI or NNI type for ATM ,Frame Relay, or ISDN serviceinterface type for channel

What is e1ChannelIfType?

This OID sets the interface type for an E1 channel (a 2.048 Mbps European digital trunk), choosing between UNI (User-to-Network) or NNI (Network-to-Network) mode for ATM, Frame Relay, or ISDN service. Engineers configure this to match their network's role—UNI for customer-facing connections, NNI for backbone links. For instance, 'uni-atm' indicates this E1 carries ATM traffic from a customer device to the carrier's network.
