e1CRC4
Module: ACMIB
OID (symbolic): ACMIB::e1CRC4
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.2.12.1.12
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-write
Description: Enable or disable transmission of CRC4 bits on bit 1 of each frame.
What is e1CRC4?
Enables or disables transmission of Cyclic Redundancy Check 4 bits on bit position 1 of each E1 frame for detecting transmission errors on the line. CRC4 monitoring is important in production networks to catch bit errors early, though you may disable it for testing or non-critical links. Example: With CRC4 enabled, the device can alert you when error rates exceed thresholds, whereas disabled means no built-in E1-level error checking occurs.
Examples
Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.2.12.1.12 snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ACMIB::e1CRC4
Get a specific instance (index 1):
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.2.12.1.12.1 snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ACMIB::e1CRC4.1
Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):
snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.2.12.1.12.1 i <value>
