What is dspChannelSilenceSupression?

This read-only OID shows whether silence suppression is active on the DSP channel, allowing the system to skip sending data during quiet moments. Engineers verify this to confirm the DSP is optimizing bandwidth by not transmitting during pauses in speech. For example, if enabled on a DSP-based phone call, 30-second silences consume almost no bandwidth, freeing capacity for other channels.
