Description: ds3 cell mapping method
What is ds3CellMapping?
This OID specifies how ATM cells are packed and transported within the DS3 frame structure for ATM-over-DS3 circuits. Network engineers select the appropriate mapping method based on their ATM equipment specifications and whether they need raw cell transport or framed transport. Choosing directMapping routes cells without overhead, while plcpMapping adds frame structure for better error detection.
