This OID counts the total number of line coding violations (bit errors due to signal encoding problems) detected on the DS1 interface. Network engineers monitor this to troubleshoot physical-layer problems caused by poor cable quality, noise, or signal degradation. A value of 15 indicates that 15 line code violations were detected on the DS1 port in the current measurement period.
