What is ds1Channelization?
This OID configures how a DS1 (T1/E1) line is divided into individual DS0 channels or used as a single 64 kbps pipe for circuit emulation. Network engineers set this when provisioning a T1 for either voice (24 channels on T1, or 30 on E1) or data circuit emulation. For example, setting this to channelized (24 channels) enables you to separately route voice calls across different channels, while unstructured uses the entire T1 as one data pipe.
