ds1ChannelSignaling
Module: ACMIB
OID (symbolic): ACMIB::ds1ChannelSignaling
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.3.3.1.7
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-write
Description: refers to robbed-bit signaling in circuitEmulation interfaces.
What is ds1ChannelSignaling?
ACMIB::ds1ChannelSignaling enables or configures robbed-bit signaling for circuit emulation services on the DS1 channel, where voice signaling is carried in unused data bits. A network engineer sets this when transporting traditional TDM voice that requires in-band signaling rather than separate out-of-band control. For example, enabling this on a DS1 carrying legacy PBX traffic allows the system to send DTMF tones in-band.
Examples
Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.3.3.1.7 snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ACMIB::ds1ChannelSignaling
Get a specific instance (index 1):
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.3.3.1.7.1 snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ACMIB::ds1ChannelSignaling.1
Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):
snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.3.3.1.7.1 i <value>
