What is ds1ChannelCellScramble?
ACMIB::ds1ChannelCellScramble enables or disables scrambling of ATM cell data on the DS1 channel to prevent long runs of identical bits and improve clock recovery. A network engineer enables this when running ATM over DS1 to ensure the receiving equipment can reliably extract timing from the signal. For example, setting this to 'enabled' applies scrambling to all ATM cells transmitted on the DS1.
