Module: ACMIB

OID (symbolic): ACMIB::deviceId

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.15.20

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Integer32

Access: read-only

Description: device ID is used as the number of external devices. Each device can be an external input device or control output device.

What is deviceId?

This read-only 32-bit integer uniquely identifies an external device that is connected to the main device, where each device can function as either an input sensor or a control output actuator. System integrators use this to distinguish which physical sensor or switch is being monitored in trap messages. For example, deviceId=7 might map to the third external thermometer connected to the equipment rack, helping staff locate the specific sensor that triggered an alert.
