This OID contains the low-order 32 bits of the count of ATM cells sent from the I/O port to external media. Engineers monitor this to confirm egress traffic is flowing and to spot transmission bottlenecks or failures. A value of 2,500,000,000 means roughly 2.5 billion cells have left this port toward the external network.
