What is consoleIPAddr3?

This OID sets a third IP address for SNMP trap delivery, adding an additional layer of alert redundancy across your monitoring infrastructure. You configure this when you want alerts distributed to multiple teams or geographic locations simultaneously. For example, 192.168.1.52 sends critical alerts to a remote NOC while local consoles receive the same traps.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.1.88
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ACMIB::consoleIPAddr3

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.1.88.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ACMIB::consoleIPAddr3.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.1.88.1 a <value>
