What is consoleIPAddr1?

This OID holds the primary IP address where SNMP trap notifications (alerts) should be sent when the device detects problems. You configure this to direct critical alerts to your monitoring console or alert server for immediate visibility. For example, setting it to 192.168.1.50 sends all device traps to that monitoring station.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.1.86
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ACMIB::consoleIPAddr1

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.1.86.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ACMIB::consoleIPAddr1.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.1.86.1 a <value>

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> consoleIPAddr1.1
