This read-only OID reports the OAM health status at the connection endpoint, indicating whether AIS (Alarm Indication Signal) or RDI (Remote Defect Indication) conditions are present. Monitoring systems poll this to detect endpoint-level faults in the OAM architecture and trigger alarms if side A or B stops responding to heartbeat probes.
