This OID specifies the numeric encoding profile identifier (1 to 256) for the B-to-A direction, decoupling the return path codec configuration from the forward path to allow asymmetric compression when endpoints have different capabilities. Operators select different profile IDs on A2B and B2A when, for example, side A supports modern low-bandwidth G.729 but side B is a legacy system that requires G.711; profile 5 might activate G.729 inbound while profile 1 activates G.711 outbound.
