What is casOperStatus?
This OID reports the actual operational state of a CAS trunk or line, indicating whether the interface is currently active and ready for signaling or is offline. Network engineers monitor this read-only value to verify that the administrative commands took effect and to detect unexpected link failures or state changes. If this shows "outOfService" when you set the admin status to "inService," it signals that the interface failed to activate due to a hardware problem or configuration error.
