Description: Current operational status of the card. For I/O card, it is primary if configured, it is unknown if unconfigured, or removed. For CPU, it is primary if the CPU is master CPU, or standby if the CPU is slave CPU.

What is cardOperStatus?

This OID indicates the operational state of a card such as primary (active), standby (backup), or unknown (unconfigured). Engineers check this to understand which cards are actively handling traffic versus standing by as backups. A primary CPU card means that CPU is the master controller directing all system operations.
