Description: The number of frames that have been received by this port from its segment. Note that a frame received on the interface corresponding to this port is only counted by this object if and only if it is for a protocol being processed by the local bridging function, including bridge management frames. High-order 32 bits.

This OID stores the upper 32 bits of the total frames received on this port from its connected segment. Combined with the Low counter, you get the complete 64-bit ingress frame count for capacity planning and traffic analysis. If this is non-zero, your port has processed many billions of frames—typical for well-used production switches.
